Here is the schedule of events that we hope to participate in, in 2022.

It is important to understand that this is a list of races scheduled when posted, and may change.  

Where there are 3 days, the 1st day is generally a practice day, which I typically will not take – unless the weekend is expected to be bad weather but practice day is good.

As a general rule, CMP races will get first choice if there are any conflicts on a specific date.  However, a race event at other tracks will likely take precedence over Turn One.  Weather will definitely be an important factor in the decisions to go or not.

We probably won’t go to Turn One events except when I haven’t been on the track in a while and am getting anxious to do so.

Obviously, we won’t make all races.

CMP is Carolina Motorsports Park at Kershaw, SC
RRR is Roebling Road Raceway near Savannah, GA
AMP is Atlanta Motorsports Park, north of Atlanta GA
VIR is Virginia International Raceway, north of Greensboro, NC, near Danville, VA
Road Atlanta is also north of Atlanta, near AMP

NASA is National Auto Sports Association – the main entity I race/drive with
SCCA is Sports Car Club of America

Turn One is a private enterprise that operates exclusively at CMP – strictly track days (practice and testing)

Jul 1-4 – RRR – SCCA (check for qualification)

Aug 6 – 7 – VIR – SCCA
